Beatrice’s Bridesmaid Gown

Alex Keiper as Beatrice and Nate Burger as Benedick

In total, the shop made three 90’s bridesmaid’s dresses for Hero’s first wedding.  I assembled Beatrice’s gown from mock-up to complete garment. All three gowns were made of stretch taffeta, externally flat-lined with netting for the bodice and with embroidered lace net for the skirt. The gown is finished with poly-blend lining and top-stitched along the neckline edge. Finally, lace-appliques were applied by hand to the netting of the bodice by individual stitchers, with guidance from our draper.
