You on the Moors Now allowed me to observe or practice nearly all of the roles necessary for completion of a garment. I assisted in the selection of fabrics, cut one layer of the gown, assembled the fabric and lining layers, and completed some finishing. This was my first attempt at draping something voluminous, as we added snaps for the ladies to draw up their skirts and ‘gird their loins’ per the script (see the sixth image).

You on the Moors Now combines a range of time periods and every individual in the shop worked on a variety of alterations to pre-existing menswear. I personally did many alterations to Mr. Bingley’s coat and breeches (3rd from the right, played by Cody Nace).
